Errors with expressions in After Effects

How to solve the problem with expressions in After Effects CC19 and above?

Solution

  1. Open the Project Settings
  2. Click to tab Expressions
  3. Select a Legacy ExtendScript

Apply the settings and try using the templates again (if errors occur again, then try restarting After Effects after making changes).
